Lawson Bar Oregon

This is a great opportunity to prospect the legendary Lawson Bar. Come meet up with other club members and probably find gold.  
 
Jessica will be set up with a pop-up canopy up between 10 and 3. Swing by say hi, check in and see how others are doing Lawson bar is on the South Umpqua River. This is essential Salmon Habitat, so non-motorized prospecting during the outing please. Gold pans, sluice box, buckets, shovels, picks, classifiers, snuffer bottles are all gear that you may want to use. Camping is available in Myrtle creek. There is a county park called “Stanton Park” nearby. There is RV camping also at the nearby casino (7 Feathers). Hotel rooms are available at the casino, or in town (Canyonville). Rosenberg is about 20 minutes North of the Bar. 

There is no shade or accommodations where the event will take place. There is good cell signal there, and there are several options within 3 miles. This is a great event for beginners. This is a great event for those who have a harder time getting around. Those with capable vehicles will be able to drive onto the bar, or most areas
